Terms of Service for RepQuest

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using RepQuest, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The Service

RepQuest is a gamified fitness tracker. It helps you choose a workout split, follow a training schedule, log completed sessions, and track XP, levels, ranks, streaks, and trophies. Fantasy language such as Battle, Quest, Hero, and Rank describes workouts and progress. It is not a combat game and not a medical service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create a RepQuest account. You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for activity under your Firebase Authentication account, for keeping access to your Google account or email inbox secure, and for the accuracy of information you provide. Do not share your signed-in device in a way that lets others change or delete your account without permission.

Supported sign-in methods are Google Sign-In and email-link authentication. There is no guest mode for the main App experience.

5. Fitness and Health Disclaimer

RepQuest provides training organization and gamification features. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. Workout suggestions, estimated calories, intensity scores, and injury-area questions are informational tools, not clinical advice.

Exercise involves risk of injury. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a program, especially if you have an injury, medical condition, or other health concern. You use the App at your own risk.

6. Proper Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access another user’s account, profile, or workout history
• Interfere with Firebase, Google Play, or RevenueCat infrastructure
• Reverse engineer the App except where applicable law allows
• Use automated means to create accounts, inflate leaderboard stats, or abuse deletion
• Upload unlawful content through support email or display names
• Misrepresent your identity to Google Play reviewers or other users

7. User-Provided Information

You retain any rights you have in the information you enter. You grant chalkedzilla a limited license to process that information as needed to operate RepQuest, including storing it in Firebase and showing leaderboard fields to other signed-in users as described in the Privacy Policy.

Display names must not include illegal, hateful, or infringing content. We may remove a display name or suspend an account that violates these Terms.

8. Subscription Features

Some features may be limited to a paid membership. Subscription status is determined by Google Play Billing and, when configured, RevenueCat entitlement checks. The App does not store a competing “premium” flag on your Firestore profile.

9. Adventurer and Ascendant Membership

• Adventurer is the free tier.
• Ascendant is the paid subscription tier when an active ascendant entitlement is present.

If RevenueCat is not configured, the App stays on Adventurer and does not invent premium access.

10. Billing, Renewals, and Cancellations

Android purchases are processed by Google Play. Price, trial, renewal period, and tax are shown in the Play purchase flow. Subscriptions renew according to Google Play until you cancel in Google Play subscription settings (or the equivalent Google account controls).

Refunds, chargebacks, and billing disputes are handled under Google Play’s applicable refund and billing policies. These Terms do not promise a refund beyond what Google Play requires or permits. For subscription questions that Google Play cannot resolve, email billing@chalkedzilla.com.

Restoring purchases uses the same Play / RevenueCat account linkage. Deleting your RepQuest account does not automatically cancel a Play subscription; cancel the subscription in Google Play if you no longer want to be billed.

11. Intellectual Property

RepQuest, chalkedzilla, the App’s artwork, UI, class names, and related materials are owned by chalkedzilla or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may not copy or redistribute the App except as allowed by Google Play and applicable law.

12. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including splits, quests, leaderboards, or membership benefits. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Cloud data depends on Google services remaining available to the project.

13. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused the service, or created risk to other users or infrastructure. You may stop using the App at any time.

14. Account Deletion

You may delete your account in the App or at Delete Account. Deletion removes the Firebase Auth user and associated Firestore profile, workouts, and leaderboard row through a single authenticated backend. It cannot be undone. Play purchase records may remain with Google.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

RepQuest is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, chalkedzilla disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of calorie or XP estimates, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, chalkedzilla is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or training progress, arising from your use of the App or from injury related to exercise you perform. Our total liability for claims relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for Ascendant in the three months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars, except where applicable law forbids such a limit.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a limitation is prohibited.

17. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
